The Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy announces admissions for foreign citizens and stateless persons for the 2026/2027 academic year in the following fields of study:
Bachelors Degree Programs:
- Maritime Navigation Engineering (instruction in Azerbaijani, English, Russian)
- Ship Power Plant Operation Engineering (instruction in Azerbaijani, English)
- Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Engineering (instruction in Azerbaijani)
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering (instruction in Azerbaijani)
Duration of bachelors studies: 4 years
Master’s Degree Programs:
- Shipping and Vessel Traffic Management (instruction in Azerbaijani)
- Marine Engineering and Technology (instruction in Azerbaijani)
- Marine Equipment Operation Engineering (instruction in Azerbaijani)
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering (instruction in Azerbaijani)
Duration of masters studies: 2 years
Admission Requirements for Foreign Applicants:
Candidates’ educational background and language proficiency will be assessed by the Academy’s interview commission. Admission is granted if requirements are met.
Tuition Fee:
- 5100 AZN
Students are provided free uniforms, study materials, and dormitory accommodation. The Academys diplomas are recognized in more than 170 countries.
The Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy is a member of the International Association of Maritime Universities and the Association of Caspian Littoral State Universities.
