At todays extraordinary session of the Milli Majlis (Parliament), the draft law on joining the “International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships by Harmful Substances” was adopted.
According to sea-news.az the Convention was signed on 5 October 2001 in London, United Kingdom.
After discussions, the document was put to a vote and subsequently approved.
