As part of the visit, guests were provided with detailed information about the museum. It was noted that during the transformation of the Surakhani tanker into a ship museum, best practices from countries with strong maritime traditions—such as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Türkiye—were applied. To ensure the project met international standards, cooperation was established with more than 100 reputable local and international companies.

Visitors were then introduced to exhibition halls reflecting the history of Azerbaijani and global shipping, as well as maritime traditions. The exhibits, architectural design of the halls, and innovative approaches used in the museum attracted particular interest from the guests.

It was also highlighted that the International Carpet Festival held in Baku from May 1 to 3 brought together carpet weavers, manufacturers, artists, and industry experts from Azerbaijan and various other countries.
