A charity fair was held at the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) under the motto “Every contribution turns into great value.”
Organized within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility, the event aimed to promote a culture of charity and further strengthen unity and social responsibility within the organization.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, ASCO Chairman Afgan Jalilov подчеркнул that such charitable initiatives play an important role in reinforcing solidarity within the corporate environment and promoting social responsibility values. He also emphasized the importance of ensuring the continuity of projects that benefit society.
As part of the fair, employees presented and sold handmade items, including paintings, ship models, decorative objects, and souvenirs. A variety of food products was also offered. The items, reflecting the creativity and initiative of the staff, were made available at symbolic prices.
An auction held during the event attracted particular interest. Several valuable items were put up for sale, including a painting by Zaur Huseynov, Deputy Head of ASCO’s Classified Regime and Military Mobilization Department and a Hero of the Patriotic War, which was among the highest-priced works. In his remarks, he noted the significant moral and social importance of such charitable initiatives.
The funds raised during the fair will be directed to support children in need.
