The Seaside Boulevard Administration (DBİ) has initiated preparations to clean the water surface of the Baku Bay section within the Seaside National Park, targeting oil slicks and other petroleum-based organic pollutants.
Sea-news.az reports that under this initiative, the Administration will allocate 1.77 million manats to the Caspian Basin Emergency Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to carry out the environmental remediation work.
Established in 2008 with a statutory capital of 65.211 million manats, the Seaside Boulevard Administration is responsible for the oversight, management, maintenance, operational activities, and long-term development of the National Park’s coastal zone.
