The governments of the United States, Azerbaijan, and Armenia have initiated trilateral technical planning groups to accelerate the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP).
Sea-news.az reports citing the US Department of State, that the announcement was made in a joint statement released by the three governments on November 6.
According to the statement, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Brendan Hanrahan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan, and Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov officially launched the operations of the trilateral technical working groups aimed at advancing the TRIPP corridor.
“This forum brings together policymakers and technical specialists from all three nations to foster joint efforts toward ensuring long-term regional stability, unlocking economic growth, enhancing cross-border connectivity, and elevating commercial prosperity. This partnership also reinforces the significance of the historic Peace Summit Declaration brokered by President Donald Trump on August 8, 2025,” the statement read.
During the inaugural phase, the parties agreed to form two dedicated technical planning units focused on transportation routing and high-voltage power transmission infrastructure.
It was noted that these working groups will resolve complex engineering standards, facilitate transitions into subsequent execution stages, and oversee integration with existing regional infrastructure networks.
The participating nations reaffirmed their shared commitment to fully realizing all core components of the TRIPP initiative within the shortest possible timeframe.
