Mintra, a company specializing in maritime training solutions, has launched a new-generation simulation platform aimed at strengthening practical safety training for seafarers.
According to sea-news.az the system is developed using Unreal Engine technology and provides crew members with the opportunity to develop decision-making skills in realistic operational scenarios. The platform can be used both on onboard ship computers and on personal devices.
In its initial phase, the system includes courses focused mainly on:
- accident investigation
- enclosed space entry and rescue operations
Experts note that accidents in enclosed spaces have become one of the most high-risk areas in terms of fatalities in recent years.
Mintra stated that the new platform will help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real maritime conditions, improve the accuracy of crew training, and enhance overall safety standards at sea.
