A rowing competition among employees of state institutions will be held on June 11, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation.
According to sea-news.az the event will take place at the “Baku” Canoe and Rowing Club area on the Baku Boulevard. Employees from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, TƏBİB, Azerishiq JSC, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, the State Advertising Agency, SOCAR, the State Customs Committee, the State Migration Service, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations will participate in the competition.
The races will be held in 200-meter kayak events, both in single and double-person boats, where the strongest participants will be determined.
The main goal of the competition is to create a healthy competitive environment among state institutions, strengthen team spirit, and increase interest in water sports.
