A voluntary blood donation campaign has been held at the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO).
According to sea-news.az citing Seanews.az, hematologists from the Republic Blood Bank of the Ministry of Health conducted preliminary medical examinations of employees wishing to become donors. Blood was collected from those whose health conditions met the required criteria.
The humanitarian initiative, organized by ASCO’s Department of Social Development and Transport, saw active participation from employees representing various structural divisions of the company.
The collected blood supplies will be used in the treatment of patients suffering from thalassemia and other hereditary blood disorders.
The blood donation campaign serves as an example of social responsibility and solidarity, while also providing vital support to people in need of medical care.
