The Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation plans to promote the development of sailing, kayaking and canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and other water sports at the Sea Breeze Marina yacht club.
The federation’s Executive Vice President, Farhad Aliyev, stated that a new training school is scheduled to open at Sea Breeze Marina this year. According to him, the complex has the potential to become a major hub for water sports development during the summer season.
Aliyev also noted that the federation intends to introduce Dragon-class boats to Azerbaijan in the future and support the growth of stand-up paddleboarding and other modern water sports disciplines.
He added that the federation currently operates training facilities on the Baku Boulevard waterfront and in Mingachevir, providing opportunities for athletes and enthusiasts to develop their skills in various water sports.
