The Vessel Traffic Management Center of the State Maritime and Port Agency has issued a warning to ships due to expected windy weather conditions.
According to the warning, northwestern and northern winds are expected across the Caspian Sea area starting from the evening of May 29 and continuing until the daytime hours of May 30.
During this period, wind speeds are forecast to reach 18–23 m/s, occasionally intensifying to 25–30 m/s, and up to 33 m/s in open sea areas.
Wave heights are expected to range between 2.0–3.0 meters, later increasing to 3.5–5.5 meters.
