The delegation of the Azerbaijan State Marine Academy (ASMA) held a meeting at Yıldız Technical University (YTU) during its working visit to Türkiye.
The meeting took place at the Faculty of Naval Architecture and Maritime Engineering, where the parties discussed expanding academic cooperation, including student and faculty exchange programs, joint research projects, and the organization of summer and winter schools.
Speaking at the meeting, ASMA Acting Rector Eldar Qocayev emphasized the importance of ensuring that cooperation is focused on practical outcomes. YTU Rector Eyüp Debik stated that the partnership should generate tangible scientific and educational results.
During the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two institutions. Initial agreements were also reached on faculty exchange programs, joint academic supervision, and co-authored scientific publications.
As part of the visit, the ASMA delegation also toured the university’s simulators, laboratories, and research centers.
