An environmental incident has been reported at Ala Wai Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii.

According to the U.S. Coast Guard, a spill and spread of petroleum products, particularly diesel fuel, was detected in the harbor waters. Response efforts involving the Coast Guard, several government agencies, and specialized private contractors have been deployed to contain the pollution and mitigate its impact.

Officials stated that 23 bags of absorbent materials have already been used in containment and recovery operations. However, the source and exact scale of the spill have not yet been identified, and investigations are ongoing.

Preliminary reports indicate that no casualties or significant environmental damage have been recorded so far.
