The President Cup 2026 sailing tournament has concluded in Baku. Organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Sailing Federation, the competition was dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Members of the “Caspian Sailing Boats Sports Club” of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) achieved notable results in the event.
Amir Alakbarov secured third place in the ILCA 4.7 class. In the Optimist class youth competition, Gulistan Elif Gozel finished second, while Dmitry Petrenko took third place.
The tournament plays an important role in supporting the development of sailing in the country and enhancing the skills of young athletes.
