A delegation from the European Parliament visited the Port of Kuryk in the Mangystau Region of Kazakhstan to inspect its infrastructure and logistics capabilities.
Sea-news.az reports citing the press service of “Kazakhstan Railways” JSC, that the delegation was received by Bakhytkerey Alibekov, Deputy Director of Operations at “Port Kuryk” LLC. He presented the port’s operational capacities and facility infrastructure to the visiting guests.
During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the pivotal role played by the Port of Kuryk in expanding the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR / Middle Corridor), alongside strategic prospects for deepening international transport and logistics partnerships.
The visit underscored the port’s growing throughput capacity and strategic relevance in streamlining freight connectivity between Europe and Asia.
