An essay competition titled “Geniuses Write History”, dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was held at the Military Institute of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The competition brought together participants from 15 higher education institutions and aimed to promote the study and dissemination of the rich legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev among the younger generation.
Yagub Sharifov, a first-year student majoring in Marine Navigation Engineering at the Navigation Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Marine Academy (ASMA), represented the Academy in the competition. Owing to his successful performance, he was awarded third place and received a certificate of achievement.
In addition, Yagub Sharifov delivered a presentation at the scientific-practical conference titled “The Role and Responsibility of Azerbaijani Youth in the Development of Society”, also hosted by the Military Institute of the Internal Troops.
The conference was organized by the Cadet Scientific Society to encourage young people’s commitment to statehood values, social responsibility, and scientific cooperation.
