Iran has intercepted and detained a foreign vessel transporting hundreds of thousands of liters of fuel.
Sea-news.az reports that the commander of the Border Guard Forces of Khuzestan Province announced the seizure of a foreign tugboat carrying 382,000 liters of contraband fuel in the northern waters of the Persian Gulf.
According to the official, 11 foreign nationals aboard the vessel were arrested during the operation.
The confiscated fuel is estimated to be valued at over $357,000.
