A cameraman for 24 TV, Fatih Coshkun, has fallen victim to a physical assault while covering a marine vessel accident off the coast of Silivri in Turkey.
Sea-news.az reports citing Turkish media sources, that Coshkun was targeted and beaten by individuals at the scene while filming footage of the ongoing situation. The violent moments of the attack were captured on camera.
According to initial reports, the assailants are alleged to be relatives of the crew members aboard the Tugberk İmamoglu cargo vessel, which was involved in the accident and whose 10 crew members remain missing.
