On the night of July 30, Ukraine launched a drone attack on the port of Taman in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, resulting in damage to infrastructure at the facility.
Sea-news.az reports that the Southern Transport Prosecutor’s Office of Russia disseminated this information on social networks.
“As a result of the UAV attack, port infrastructure facilities were damaged, and there are casualties,” the statement said.
The port of Taman is one of the main logistics hubs in southern Russia. Due to its geographical location, it plays an important role in the transshipment of cargo, as well as in the supply of petroleum products and other goods to Crimea, which is currently under Russian occupation.
