The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) has resumed accepting crude oil from shippers and loading it through its marine terminal at the Port of Novorossiysk.
According to sea-news.az citing the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the tankers Seamajesty and Milos are currently loading crude oil at the Consortium’s offshore mooring facilities. Both vessels are receiving oil supplied by Tengizchevroil LLP.
The resumption of oil acceptance enables companies to continue deliveries into the pipeline system and restart export operations through the marine terminal.Further terminal operations will depend on ongoing assessments of the situation and compliance with the necessary safety requirements.
Asel Serikpayeva, Adviser and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Energy, stated that the Ministry remains in constant contact with CPC management, major shippers, and other stakeholders. She noted that the situation is under control and that measures are being coordinated to ensure the uninterrupted transportation of Kazakhstan’s crude oil.
