According to sea-news.az that the Vessel Traffic Management Center of the State Maritime and Port Agency (SMPA) is warning ships regarding windy weather conditions.
According to the warning, the northwest and north winds expected to be observed in the Caspian Sea basin starting from the morning of July 27 will continue until the morning of July 28.
During those days, the northwest wind is forecasted to intensify to 18-23 m/s, occasionally 25-28 m/s, and up to 30 m/s in the open sea.
The wave height is projected to reach 2.0-3.0 meters, and up to 3.0-5.0 meters in subsequent developments.
