Azerbaijani representative Tatyana Smilovenko achieved a successful result at the European Canoe and Kayak Youth and Under-23 Championships held in Szeged, Hungary.
According to sea-news.az that the national team member secured a spot among the medalists in the 500-meter women’s single canoe event. Tatyana Smilovenko crossed the finish line 2nd in the decisive A final, claiming the silver medal.
It should be recalled that this is Tatyana Smilovenko’s second medal won at a continental championship representing the Azerbaijan national team. Last year, she placed 3rd at the U-23 European Championships organized in Pitesti, Romania.
