U.S. forces interfere with shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz

Following the renewal of Iran’s maritime blockade on July 13, U.S. military forces have forced six vessels in the Strait of Hormuz to change their course, while another vessel has been disabled.

According to sea-news.az that this was announced by the United States Central Command (CENTCOM).

It is noted that control over shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and the enforcement of the maritime blockade imposed on Iranian ports are being maintained by the U.S. Navy destroyer USS John Finn.
