Mehri Aghayeva, a member of our national junior diving team participating in the “Sofia Diving Cup” held in Bulgaria, has been awarded a silver medal in the 1-meter springboard diving category for the Girls’ Group E.
According to sea-news.az that our athlete secured 2nd place among 15 competitors with a score of 115.20 points.
In last year’s competition in the same category, her result was 72.95 points (11th place).
It should be noted that a total of 187 athletes from 15 countries are participating in the tournament held in Sofia from July 14 to 17. Our national team is represented by 7 athletes: Alisa Hajiyeva (12), Ayla Huseynova (12), Magsud Tahirli (12), Mehri Aghayeva (8), Muhammad Huseynov (9), Sofiya Aghayeva (6), and Suada Tahir (14). The head coach is Anton Melnikov, and the coach is Angelina Melnikova.
