According to sea-news.az according to information provided by the Agency, the main purpose of the meeting was to evaluate current opportunities and prospects for staffing vessels flying the State flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan in international waters entirely with local seafarers. The primary topics of discussion included strengthening national human resources in the maritime transport sector, enhancing the professional training of Azerbaijani seafarers in accordance with international requirements, and expanding their employment opportunities within both the local and global shipping industries.
