Azerbaijani athlete Nurlan Pashayev has achieved a major success at the 64th annual “Amber Oars” international rowing regatta held in Lithuania.
According to sea-news.az our representative, competing in the lightweight single sculls event, surpassed all his rivals to become the champion. This result marks the first medal won by the Azerbaijani national team at the tournament, and it is a gold one.
It should be noted that the “Amber Oars” international regatta, held in the city of Trakai from June 26 to June 28, is considered one of the most traditional and prestigious rowing competitions.
