An event was organized in ASCO (Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company) Caspian Sea Oil Fleet with the purpose of enhancing the legal knowledge of its employees.
According to sea-news.az during the meeting, which was also attended by Elvin Jafarov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of ASCO, participants were briefed by Royal Humbatov, Head of the Investigation and Inquiry Department of the Water Transport Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Zohrab Mayilov, Head of the Criminal Investigation Department.
They provided detailed information on cyber threats, the theft of funds from bank cards, theft incidents recorded on platforms and vessels, the legal liability arising from the use of narcotics and psychotropic substances, as well as ways to protect against such offenses. The event, held in an interactive discussion environment, addressed questions of interest to the participants and highlighted the importance of legal education and compliance with safety and security regulations.
