Warning Issued on Beach Safety Risks – VIDEO

The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has urged the public to strictly follow safety rules in connection with the ongoing beach season.

According to sea-news.az the ministry noted that some citizens are ignoring established safety regulations at beaches, creating potentially dangerous situations.

MES emphasized that the following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Swimming in non-designated areas (canals, rivers, etc.)
  • Swimming beyond marked safe zone boundaries
  • Entering the sea during windy weather
  • Staying overnight on beaches
  • Entering the water under the influence of alcohol
  • Engaging in reckless or unsafe behavior in the water
  • Entering beach areas with boats or small vessels other than authorized rescue equipment

It was also stressed that parents should maintain close supervision of children and strictly follow warning signs and lifeguard instructions.

In addition, prolonged exposure to strong sunlight and swimming after dark were highlighted as significant health and safety risks.

The MES called on citizens to remain cautious and adhere to all safety rules.
