As part of the election process for the Student Youth Organization (SYO) of the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy (ASMA), the interview stage with candidates has been completed under the organization of the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union (ASYOU).
According to sea-news.az during the interviews held on June 3, candidates were assessed by ASYOU authorized representative, Bakhtiyar Guluzade, based on their leadership qualities, organizational and management skills, outlook, and vision for the future activities of the Student Youth Organization. Proposals aimed at increasing student engagement, improving the effective use of students’ leisure time, and implementing new projects were also discussed.
The candidates who successfully completed the document submission stage and participated in the interviews were Huseyn Jamalli, Mirza Hasanli, Tarif Karimli, Mohsun Abbasov, and Elshan Shiraliyev.
Following the evaluation process, Huseyn Jamalli, Mohsun Abbasov, and Elshan Shiraliyev advanced to the next stage of the elections.
Detailed information regarding the voting process and the presentation of the candidates’ election platforms is expected to be announced in the coming days through the Academy’s official information channels.
