NATO Exercises Continue

NATO has launched the “BALTOPS 26” exercise in the Baltic Sea. According to the Polish Ministry of National Defence, NATO vessels departing from Gdynia will conduct coordinated maritime security drills over the next two weeks together with allied and partner countries.

According to sea-news.az the exercise involves 15 countries and approximately 20 naval vessels. The program includes anti-ship and air-defense maneuvers, amphibious landing operations, mine countermeasures, and the use of unmanned systems.

The aim of the exercise is to enhance the joint operational capability of allied forces and strengthen maritime security in the Baltic region.
