Samir Ibadzadeh, an Azerbaijani citizen injured in a drone attack on a cargo vessel in the Sea of Azov on June 5, has stated that his condition is stable and satisfactory.
According to sea-news.az citing APA, Ibadzadeh is currently undergoing treatment in the traumatology department of the Yeysk Central City Hospital in Russia. In a message to his family and loved ones, he urged them not to be concerned about his health.
“Everything is fine. My parents should not worry,” he said.
As previously reported, during the night of June 5, two cargo ships in the Sea of Azov came under attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Several Azerbaijani citizens lost their lives in the incident, while others sustained injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigations into the circumstances of the attack are continuing.
