StormGeo has expanded its real-time vessel operations platform, Voyage Intelligence, turning it into a more integrated digital system. The project is being carried out in cooperation with its parent company Alfa Laval and is designed to automatically collect data from ship engines and hull systems.
According to sea-news.az, citing Seanews.az the new integration will combine technical sensor data with weather conditions, route planning, navigation information, emissions reporting, and bunker (fuel) data within a single platform.
The company states that this approach will allow operators to monitor vessel technical conditions in real time, optimize fuel consumption, and reduce maintenance costs. The system will also support condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance strategies for ship equipment.
