A swimming competition organized by Aquanetix Performance Lab Swimming Club was held at the Baku Aquatics Palace on May 28–29.
Members of the Azerbaijani national swimming team also took part in the event. Over the two days of competition, national team swimmers won a total of 26 gold, 10 silver, and 8 bronze medals.
The tournament featured several notable achievements. National team swimmer Fatima Alkaramova broke the Azerbaijani record in the 200-meter breaststroke, a record that had stood since 2016. Anastasia Boborykina also set a new national record in the 50-meter breaststroke.
Another national team member, Maryam Javadova, achieved the qualification standard for the title of Master of Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan with her performance in the 100-meter freestyle.
The competition results once again demonstrated the rising level of Azerbaijani swimmers and the continued development of swimming in the country.
