A series of events dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s birth continues at the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy (ASMA) under ASCO.
As part of the latest event, Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Qurbanov met with future seafarers.
Acting Rector of ASMA Eldar Gojayev highlighted Firudin Qurbanov’s contributions to the development of the country’s education system and his extensive pedagogical experience, calling on students to benefit from his valuable advice.
In his speech, Firudin Qurbanov spoke about Heydar Aliyev’s exceptional contributions to state-building, the economy, and culture, emphasizing his ability to make strategic decisions and his commitment to national interests.
The deputy minister then answered students’ questions. The discussions covered study opportunities abroad, the role of artificial intelligence in education, the importance of the maritime profession at both national and global levels, as well as the key challenges facing the education system.
