Trans-Caspian connecting gas pipeline can cost USD 400 mln.

According to the preliminary calculations, the project of establishment of gas highway to other countries through Azerbaijan from Turkmenistan, costs investment amounted USD 400 mln. and can be realized about 4 months, said Natalie Costello, Director of the Advisory Committee of Trans Caspian Resources, during the International Oil and Gas Forum APA-Economics reports citing Turkmen media.

The base for implementing the project will be the current infrastructure of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea. Trans-Caspian connecting gas pipeline will allow Turkmenistan to organize annually 10-12 bln. cubic meters of gas supply to the countries that need such kind of fuel.
