“North part of the Caspian Sea has great wind energy potential. We and international organizations assess it to be in volume of about 157 GW,” Deputy Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Elnur Soltanov told APA-Economics.
According to Deputy Minister, it is 20 times more than the whole electricity potential of Azerbaijan and for its quality, the Caspian Sea has ranked in second place just after the North Sea in the world.
