- Supervise HSE Design for offshore installation, including mostly new facilities jackets, bridges and topside.
- Follow-up of Subsea studies HSE related matters.
- Participate to Project Reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, PR, SIL review, 3D PDMS and alike), prepare and follow-up of audits.
- Close monitoring of Safety Studies subcontracted to 3rd parties (FERA, TRA).
- Assist to Project and provide inputs to all packages on HSE matters at Project level.
- Follow-up of Environmental studies.
- Verify that contractors prepare for and obtain design appraisal reports and HSE relevant dossiers approvals from Azerbaijani authorities.
- Review and propose response to HSE subject relevant letters, technical queries, deviation requests for project management approval.
- Communicate with multiple bidders (project beginning) and contractors (later project stage), as well as Total HQ engineers.
- Manage and supervise the overall safety and environmental engineering on portfolio of projects.
- Perform the duties of a lead engineer on large projects.
- Technically direct and control junior safety discipline engineers and administrative staff.
- Manage resources and interview/recruit new members of staff.
- Train and develop national staff to fulfill their potential in line with their IDP (nationalization)
- Prepare man hour estimates, CTRS and input to schedules for each unit of work
- To perform as technical expert within the discipline
- Comply with company Quality Management System (procedures and guidelines)
