Notes by transport expert Rauf Aghamiryazev: Using bicycles in major industrial enterprises is an important step in terms of saving time and reducing logistical burden

Transport expert Rauf Aghamiryazev praised the internal mobility approach applied within the Baku Shipyard. Here are the expert’s insights:
“Previously, in reports on large factories in Western Europe and China, I used to see employees moving around the factory grounds on bicycles. It was pleasing to see the same approach at the Baku Shipyard yesterday. This is not just a bicycle — it is the proper organization of internal mobility across a large area. In large industrial enterprises, using bicycles instead of cars for short distances saves time, reduces internal transport loads, and decreases traffic congestion on site. Sometimes a modern transport solution is not a massive project, but a small, well-organized step.”
