Approximately 14 million barrels of Iraqi oil, the delivery of which was delayed due to the conflict in the Middle East, have been successfully transported out of the Persian Gulf. This was made possible due to the reduction of tensions in the Strait of Hormuz against the backdrop of the ceasefire agreement reached between the United States and Iran.

According to sea-news.az this was reported by the Bloomberg agency.

According to the agencys analytical data, the ships carrying Iraqi oil departed the Persian Gulf in the second half of June (over the last 10 days) and headed toward buyers in Asia, Europe, and the United States. The volume of crude oil transported from the region during the specified 10-day period averaged 1.4 million barrels per day.
