A meeting has been organized at ASCO “Zigh” Ship Repair and Construction Yard with the aim of increasing the legal awareness of its employees.
According to sea-news.az the event was attended by Elvin Jafarov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of ASCO, the yard’s management, as well as representatives from the Water Transport Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the meeting, Rovshan Humbatov, Head of the Investigation and Inquiry Section of the Water Transport Police Department, and Zohrab Mayilov, Head of the Criminal Investigation Section, delivered presentations on various legal topics.
The speeches primarily provided extensive information and warnings regarding the following current topics:
- Cybersecurity: Existing risks and prevention methods in the field of information security.
- Financial Fraud: Fraudulent cases encountered in connection with bank cards.
- Theft Incident: Theft cases recorded at maritime transport facilities and their prevention.
- Harmful Habits and Illegality: Legal consequences resulting from the illicit trafficking and use of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
At the end of the event, which was conducted in an interactive format, extensive discussions were held around matters of interest to the participants, and the employees’ questions were answered in detail.
