A meeting with a delegation from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) was held at “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping” CJSC (ASCO), one of the companies of “AZCON Holding”.
According to sea-news.az Chairman of the Board of ASCO, Afgan Jalilov, provided the guests with detailed information about the company’s fields of activity, fleet renewal, projects implemented in the area of digitalization and the application of innovative solutions, as well as future priorities.
During the meeting, a broad exchange of views took place on Azerbaijan’s transport and logistics potential, particularly the development prospects of maritime transport, as well as current challenges in the shipping sector.
The discussions focused primarily on issues such as business process optimization, increasing operational efficiency, and digital transformation, and the importance of evaluating future cooperation opportunities in these areas was emphasized.
