A delegation comprising representatives from AZCON Holding and Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) visited Kazakhstan to examine the operations of the country’s leading ports and logistics terminals.
Sea-news.az reports the delegation inspected the infrastructure at the ports of Aktau and Kuryk, the Aktau Marine North Terminal, Aktau International Container Hub LLC, and the Sarzha multimodal terminal. It was emphasized that operations at these facilities play a pivotal role in expanding the region’s transport and logistics capacity.
During meetings with port executives, discussions focused on deepening cooperation between the Baku International Sea Trade Port and the ports of Aktau and Kuryk, boosting cargo handling efficiency, and establishing digital data exchange. The parties highlighted the critical importance of inter-port coordination to optimize transit cargo flows and strengthen the overall competitiveness of the Middle Corridor.
