In the January–August period of 2026, revenues in the transportation and warehousing sector in Azerbaijan amounted to 10 billion 931.9 million manats.

During the reporting period, oil cargo accounted for 40.5 percent of the cargo transported by maritime transport.
Loading and unloading operations covering 8 million 633.6 thousand tons of cargo were carried out at maritime ports. As of August 1, 2026, the volume of cargo remaining at the ports stood at 150 thousand tons.
Regarding passenger transportation by road, 95.7 percent of passengers used bus services, while 4.3 percent utilized taxi services.
