Iran and Oman reach common ground on a plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz for navigation
Sea-news.az reports citing TASS, that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced this during a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
According to a statement released by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the Iranian minister stated:
“The Iranian side considers that the memorandum of understanding signed with the US still retains legal force. Iran has already agreed upon a plan with Oman regarding the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and believes that the US side must fulfill all its obligations in good faith.”
