Organized jointly by the Baku City Youth and Sports Department and the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation (ASİNF), the “Baku SUP Tournament” will take place in the capital on August 22.
Sea-news.az reports that the competition will be held in the area of Shikhov Beach, along the coast opposite the Velopark. All young people with relevant skills and experience in SUP Board (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) are eligible to participate in the tournament.
The main goals of the event are to widely promote SUP sports among youth, increase interest in water sports, and encourage an outdoor healthy lifestyle. The Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation invites all enthusiasts of this sport to actively participate in the tournament.
