The “TEKNOFEST Mavi Vətən” section of the “TEKNOFEST 2026” Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival in Turkey, dedicated to the display of maritime vessels, will kick off on August 20.

Sea-news.az reports that “TEKNOFEST Mavi Vətən,” Turkey’s first technology festival in the maritime field, will last for four days at the Gölcük Shipyard located in Turkey’s Kocaeli province.

In addition to well-known domestically produced assets of Turkey’s defense industry—such as the TCG Istanbul, TCG Burgazada, TCG Hizirreis, and TCG Sakarya—the festival will showcase various uncrewed surface and underwater systems, alongside special demonstrations by the country’s Underwater Offence (SAT) and Underwater Defence (SAS) commandos.

The event will feature the newest defense systems from companies such as the Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE), HAVELSAN, ASFAT, ASELSAN, and ROKETSAN. Meanwhile, young engineers will compete in unmanned underwater systems and underwater rocket competitions.

The event will run until August 23.
