The upcoming World Rowing Championships in coastal and traditional disciplines will be held in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, from August 24 to 30. More than 60 countries will participate in this prestigious international tournament, where Azerbaijan will be represented by a team from the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation.
Sea-news.az reports that our representatives Ziya Mammedzada and Nurlan Pashayev will compete for medals in the lightweight double sculls event.
The national rowing team will be led throughout the competition by head coach Volodymyr Morozov.
