A total of 306,200 tons of cargo was transported from the port by road transport, with 151,400 tons being export cargo and 154,800 tons being import cargo. In addition, 104,100 tons of grain products were transported through the port’s grain terminal during the half-year.
The company stated that these recorded indicators once again confirm the stable demand for Kuryk port’s maritime-logistics services and its strategic role in the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor).
It should be noted that the Middle Corridor is a key transnational transport route connecting sea and land cargo transportation between Asia and Europe via the waters and railway networks of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey.
