Further information has been obtained regarding the “Ata 2” ship, which was subjected to a drone attack near Ukraine’s port of Odessa and had Azerbaijani sailors on board.

Sea-news.az reports that according to information provided by Mahammad Mahmudzade, the son of the ship’s chief mate, the condition of the ship’s crew is currently good, and no one was injured during the incident.

M. Mahmudzade stated that the ship, damaged as a result of the attack, is continuing its movement through a manual backup control system:

“Currently, the situation is good. There is a backup control system operating in manual mode on the ship, and the crew continues to sail through that system. The ship is currently proceeding in the direction of Bulgaria. From there they will move to Istanbul, after which the vessel will be sent for major repairs.”
