Rapidly expanding relations between Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries are not limited to bilateral ties alone, but are shaping the new geopolitical and geoeconomic map of the entire Eurasian space.

The deputy stated that at the center of this process lies the far-sighted, pragmatic foreign policy course of President Ilham Aliyev based on national interests. Within the framework of this cooperation, which has intensified even further after the Karabakh Victory, Azerbaijan is recognized by Central Asian states as a reliable political partner, strategic transit hub, investment platform, and a key actor accelerating the integration of the Turkic world.
R. Nabiyev emphasized that the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State of Central Asia play a special role in transitioning relations to an institutional plane. It was precisely at the 7th Consultative Meeting held in Tashkent on November 16, 2025, that a historical decision was made regarding Azerbaijan’s full participation in this platform. This step has strengthened our country’s role in the region’s political, economic, and security agenda.
According to the deputy, against the background of new geopolitical realities, the sharp increase in the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor has turned Azerbaijan into an indispensable logistics center connecting Central Asia with Turkey and European markets across the Caspian Sea.
